Blood and Roses: Tears of a Vampire

Aria wants the blood oath that keeps her alive renewed. She has served the vampire lord Alexander as his thrall for three years, and the renewal has to happen on a set night. Alexander is taken up with his new lover Carmilla and forgets the night, which leaves Aria under a curse that will kill her. With nowhere else to go she asks Prince Cassius for help, and he pulls her back from drowning with a bonding kiss. Alexander regrets it afterwards, abducts her and forces a wedding. Cassius has been imprisoned by his father. He gets free, objects at the altar and beats Alexander. Alexander is sentenced to 800 years in prison and Carmilla is banished. Cassius tells Aria that she was his mate long before the bond between them began.
