House of Cards II: All-In for Justice

A con ring works its way through people's savings, and Matt Swain's father is one of the people it takes. Matt had left that world and wanted a quiet retirement out of it. With his father's money gone he agrees to work with the police. He calls back the Eight Sentinels, the crew he used to run with, and goes at the ring in stages. One setup breaks the trap they had laid for him. Another cuts off the money coming in to them. After that their way out is closed, and the four students who run the operation are beaten one at a time. The run of losses forces the man above them, known as the Third Master, to come out in person.
