Love Beyond Misunderstanding with My Daddy CEO

Su Ruian sings in a bar because her mother has told her she will be pulled out of school otherwise, and Lu Tingchen, seeing her there, decides he knows what she is. He had been in a car crash some time before, and Su Ruian was the one who stopped and got him out, though he never got her name. Word went round afterwards that the crash had left him unable to father children, and the head of the Lu household, worried about the family ending with him, sent Xiao Jichuan out to find him a woman. Lu Tingchen came across Su Ruian being pawed at by men outside the job she had taken for tuition money, and he drove them off. Both of them had been drugged, and they spent that night in a hotel. She was out of the room by morning, and her mother got to her before she could take the pill. She is pregnant by the time she comes to Lu Tingchen for help, and what he already believes about her decides how he hears it.
