The Crown Prince's Bride

Song Jae-in's mother is in a hospital bed after being hit by a car belonging to the imperial household, and Jae-in cannot cover the treatment. Her family and her boyfriend both tell her to give up on the mother. Lee Gyeol comes to her with an offer: marry him and her mother lives. Lee Gyeol is the crown prince of a Korean Empire that runs as a constitutional monarchy. He has been named the next emperor and has spent his time acting out against everything the palace requires of him. He saw Jae-in once and wanted her from then. She hesitates and then takes the offer, and she moves into the palace as his wife. The place is expensive and it is not kind. She is watched, her birth is held against her, and Lee Gyeol turns over that stretch into a husband who has room for one person. His sister wants the throne and works against them for it.
