Still in Time for Love

Zhou Chen spent years quietly in love with Shen Yiqiao, a woman who works in media, and said nothing about it. When the chance finally came he married her. He turned out to be the kind of husband who handles everything, the meals and the errands and the parts of her schedule she keeps forgetting, and he does it in a steady, almost fatherly way that leaves her very little to worry about. The two of them live side by side like that, and they start circling something warmer than the arrangement they agreed to, and it becomes real affection. Then Xiang Zhinan comes back to the country. He is a tennis player with a lot of talent behind him, and he used to be Shen Yiqiao's boyfriend. He makes his interest plain and keeps signalling that he wants her back, showing up and pushing for a second chance. Zhou Chen does not argue with him. He holds onto the marriage in his own quiet way, and the possessiveness he has been sitting on for years starts to show through the calm. Shen Yiqiao is caught between the first love who left and came back and the husband who has been beside her the whole time, and she has to work out which of them is the one that fits.
