Quentin delivered food for a living. His wife Sylvia was seeing another man, Shawn, and Quentin was put out of the house with nothing on him. Around that time he came into the ability people call the Heaven's Eye. He could see through solid things and could see a short way into what had not happened yet. He met Selena of the Shen family and moved in with her. He bought lottery tickets, traded shares, went into property, and bought and cut jade, and the money came in fast. Sylvia and Shawn kept coming back at him, and each time he put them down in front of other people. He got Livia, who runs her own company, out of something that would have killed her. The Shens came round to him. All of it ran to about a month.
