Ethan Khak led the Blue Brotherhood. He loved Carlin Sim and let her go, thinking it was better for her. Her fortune was taken from her and she was tortured. Ethan killed the men responsible and then died beside her body. He wakes up alive again, at an earlier point. He goes to her wedding, takes her out of it, and shoots the man she was going to marry. He keeps her shut in where he can guard her and tells her he will protect her at any price. She thinks he is a devil. She becomes pregnant while he is holding her there. Bianca Pek arrives, calls her a kept woman, and pushes her from a height. Ethan gets back too late and finds her lying in blood.
