Synopsis

Ten years after Rachel diverted human traffickers to save Adonis and vanished, he traces her to a psychiatric hospital only to arrive after her brother has taken her home. There, adopted daughter Su Yue has stolen Rachel's identity as Adonis's rescuer and manipulated the family into years of abusing the real daughter. Adonis initially becomes another instrument of the deception, but ultimately exposes Su Yue, saves Rachel from the family plot to silence her, and helps her begin healing from the captivity and betrayal.
