Dumping the Female General?

Marshall married Vera Frost's cousin Ophelia while Vera was away, and they had a child together. Vera had spent five years at the front. She comes home to that household and to a marriage that has already been filled by someone else. Vera does not accept the arrangement. She asks for the separation outright and starts pushing for it against the family. During the fight she meets Prince Alistair, who takes her side, and the two of them spend enough time on the matter that something else grows between them. With Alistair backing her, Vera breaks the marriage and takes the matter to Marshall's family in public.
