The Daughter

Zach Chook's son Geo died in an accident. Zach held his daughter Sybil responsible for it and refused to help her when she was in trouble later on, and Sybil died in a car crash. The two of them then found themselves three years earlier. Geo talked his father into taking on a large debt and into signing as the legal representative of a property company. Sybil told him not to do it and he ignored her, so she went to live with her uncle and started over on her own. At the banquet held to mark the appointment, Zach found out what the paperwork actually committed him to. Creditors came for the money. He tried to pass the debt to Sybil. Geo attacked him and left him with injuries that put him in a coma. While Zach was unconscious, Geo and his mother put out a public account of events that blamed Sybil.
