Her Sword, Her Justice

Fighters in the country are ranked by examination, and the title they compete for is martial champion. Above that sits a master whose name the public does not know. Tracy Rhys holds that rank and has told nobody, her husband included. She married Darren Grant against her family's wishes and was cut off by them for it. For years afterwards she trained him at home without saying where the instruction came from, and his skill grew until the championship was within reach. Then he went home, arranged for her to be caught with another man, and used that to divorce her. She was pregnant when it happened and lost the child. Darren does not know that the master he has been learning from all this time is Tracy, and she has said she means to make him pay for what he did.
