He Who Succeeds By Saving Lives

Ethan's business partner, the one he trusted with everything, turned on him. Ethan came out of it with injuries bad enough to take his memory, and he ended up in a village in the mountains where nobody knew his name. A widow there took him in and looked after him for five years. His memory came back on its own, and the medical training he had before came back with it. He started treating the people in the village and the villages near it, then put what he knew into the trade the place lived on, and it began to earn. The partner is still running the company the two of them built, and Ethan sets about going back for it.
