Grandpa's Final Rules or DIE!

Walt Zane was dying when he gave his granddaughter Mia two rules about carrying his coffin, and he told her neither was to be broken for any reason. Mia went back to the old Zane house to set up the room where he would lie. The relatives who gathered there kept her at the edge of things and made their remarks. Then the size of what Walt had left came out, and the same people changed their manner toward her. They wept in the hall and, away from it, began working out what each of them stood to get. Talk of large sums set relatives against one another, and there were betrayals inside the house. Mia had the two rules about the coffin to keep through all of it.
