Selena worked as a maid in Aria's household. She got hold of a potion that fakes a mate bond and used it to pass herself off as the true match of Adrian and Julian, the two Alphas engaged to Aria, and both of them believed her. Aria was the heiress of the house and the one everybody had favored. On her birthday the two of them left her.
