Twisted Fate: Shadow of Jealousy

The daughter the Johnsons have raised was born to the Clintons. Two girls came into the same hospital at the same time and a nurse mixed them up. The Clinton husband had arranged to sell his own newborn off because his family wanted a boy, and the baby that went to the traffickers was the Johnsons'. The Clinton baby went home under the Johnson name. The mother, the Clinton chairman's daughter, was pulled out of the marriage by her father. She cut with her husband's family and spent the years after that looking for her daughter. The girl who was sold comes back grown. She works out where she was born and goes after the girl who grew up in the life that would have been hers, first getting her put out of the Johnson house, then keeping at her. There is scheming around the business, and a wedding banquet arranged to catch her out. Her mother and her grandfather get her clear of it more than once. The ex-husband, whose leg never came right, still has the one thing the mother wants, which is word of where the girl is. He uses it to bring her to him, knocks her unconscious and sets the place on fire.
