The Reborn Young Lord

Ning Chen is the illegitimate son of the Ning family in the Great Xuan Kingdom, and another man's soul arrives in his body. The household and the people around it hold him in contempt and press him at every turn. He writes poems, and the poems go round the capital. He is taken into the Inspection Bureau, where he works a run of strange cases and closes them one at a time. He builds firearms, and the fighting at the front changes with them. He goes to the border himself and takes enemy commanders alive. Across the same years he puts together the facts of his mother's killing. His name is known through the Great Xuan Kingdom by then.
