The Silk Master from the Future

Li Yunhe is a medical doctoral student when he wakes up in the body of a man married into the Zhou family, kept in the house and treated as an embarrassment. The Zhous once wove Xiangyunsha, a silk that used to go to the imperial court as tribute, and the craft has fallen apart in their hands along with the business. He is the only person left who is expected to fix it. He works out the dyeing and finishing problems with what he knows about chemistry and materials, and handles the commercial side by undercutting the family's rival Lu Qifeng, who has been buying up their suppliers and blocking their sales. The silk is presented at the Nishang gathering, a court fashion event, and is restored to tribute status. Later the Prince of Ning raises a rebellion against the emperor Zhao Yunzhuo, and Li Yunhe puts himself on the emperor's side of it.
