True Love From A Fake Death!

Selene Pierce lives in Northwild, married to Kael Grant, the third prince there, under an arrangement made between his country and hers. As far as her own court knows, she is dead. She was to have married Vincent Lowe, the crown prince, and found out before the wedding that he was in love with her stepsister Diana and had settled on Selene because of the resemblance. Vincent also believed Diana was the one who had pulled him out of danger years earlier, when the person who did that was Selene. She took that with her without correcting him, staged her own death, and went north. She is a healer by trade. The marriage to Kael was a matter of state, and over time the two of them came to trust each other, and he put his life in her hands, which no one had done with her before. Vincent finds out she is alive. He comes north after her, has Kael arrested on a charge he arranged himself, and holds Kael's life over her to make her come back.
