The Great and Powerful Genie

Elijah Baran has been married to Christine for close to five years, and for most of it she has ignored him and talked down to him. The company she runs became successful because of things he arranged for her without telling her. Before that he was a genie inside a lamp, granting three wishes to whoever held it, and he had been in there for thousands of years. The billionaire who had the lamp last used his final wish to set Elijah free, with a condition attached: Elijah had to marry the man's granddaughter, Christine, and stay married to her for five years. Elijah took human form and did it. With the five years nearly out, Elijah has come round to thinking Christine is never going to love him, and he has decided to divorce her.
