Abandoned Love: Divine Powers Unleash!

Zhang Shoushan and Lin Guizhi came down from the heavens to sit out a final mortal trial, with their return already close. They had no child of their own, so they took in an abandoned baby, Huaien, and raised him for eighteen years. They thought he would do better with his own blood, so they traced his birth mother, Qin Yue'e, and handed him back to her. He promised he would come to see them. Once inside the Qin house he refused to acknowledge either of them. Lin Guizhi fell ill from it. The two of them went to the gate of the Qin residence and knelt there asking to see him. Qin Yue'e insulted them where they knelt and Huaien came out and beat them both. Lin Guizhi struck her head against the wall. Huaien turned on Zhang Shoushan with a sword, and as the blade came down the divine power Lin Guizhi had set aside for the trial came back into her ahead of its time.
