Replaced on My Wedding Day

Six years with John Snow, and Ivy York goes to the registry office on the day they agreed to make it official. She arrives to find John already at the counter registering a marriage with his first love, Stacy Stone. His explanation is that Stacy's mother is dying and this is her last wish, so he needs Ivy to be reasonable. He promises to divorce Stacy once the old woman has what she wants and then marry Ivy properly. The wedding goes ahead with Stacy standing where Ivy should have been. Ivy's dress is taken, and she is blamed for injuring Stacy's mother, and the accusation sticks well enough to wreck what is left of her life. William Grant, who effectively runs Jinton, steps in on her side. He goes through what Stacy and her mother have staged and lays it out piece by piece, and Ivy stops trying to salvage anything with John and cuts him off entirely.
