Dating the Zombie King

Rosie Dixon's academic advisor tells her what the cure for the zombie virus requires: the genetic material of the Zombie King. A child by him. That is the price of ending the outbreak. The apocalypse has already arrived, and Rosie was close to being killed by a horde when a figure cut through it and pulled her out. The Zombie King's red eyes went to her alone. "Come with me." It took her a moment to place him as Henry Miller, who had been quietly in love with her for years. At the Miller villa his parents, both undead and very well mannered, served raw meat and called her their daughter-in-law. Henry follows her around and clings to her during the day, and at night he kills the dead to keep her safe. Rosie gets out her manual and settles on an order of operations: win over the Zombie King first, save the world after.
