Treasured Kindness

Paul Smith once did Dylan Walker a kindness. Later he became chief executive of Horizon Group. His adopted son and adopted daughter, together with Lewis, a friend from his college days, betrayed him, and Horizon Group went bankrupt. Around the same time his mother fell seriously ill, and the company's employees gathered to demand the wages they were owed. Dylan Walker came to repay the old kindness and brought Paul into his own firm. Another group then held a technology chip competition, and Paul led a team of his staff into it against rivals, with a cooperation contract going to the winner.
