Love in Deception

Baisha Village is slated to be cleared and rebuilt as a factory. Xia Zhi goes to see Han Yu, the company president behind the plan, and asks him to leave the village alone. He humiliates her instead. Angry enough to want something back, she agrees to Shen Anran's plan to drug him. The drug works but the rest of it goes wrong, and Han Yu ends up in a car crash and loses his memory. Xia Zhi, covering for what she did, tells him he is her boyfriend Xiao Yu and takes him back to Baisha Village. They live in the same house, day and night, for long enough that whatever they feel for each other stops being an act on her side. Meanwhile Han Yu's second uncle wants the family inheritance and sends people after him. In the middle of protecting Xia Zhi from them, Han Yu is hurt, and the injury brings his original memories back. The trade is that everything from the amnesia, including the village and her, is wiped out of him.
