Synopsis

At eighteen, Lydia Chang is sold by her parents to an old bachelor. Debt collector Brandon Shaw saves her, sends the third-grade dropout back to school, and loves her like a father. In danger he risks his life, and she finally calls him Dad. He renames her Dawn Shaw and sees her through college. No love runs deeper than family.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
