Her Last Wish

Yannis owed Frank a life from a life before this one. To settle it he put off ascending, took the place of a live-in son-in-law in the Feng household, and gave his word: three years of protection through the heavenly tribulation, and years added to Felicia's span. The Feng company lists. After that Felicia looks at her husband and sees a man worth nothing, and starts working on him with money and property to get the marriage contract dissolved so the family can attach itself to the Ou side. Yannis allows her three chances to break the engagement. She spends two, smashing the peace knot and demanding the thumb ring. The contract survives, but what stands over her thins out, and Neil and Mark come up from the Underworld for her. She still will not believe any of it, and Theresa talks her into tearing the contract up. Thunder answers, and so do the enforcers, and Piper holds it off for a while with the peace knot. Then the Feng family runs into trouble of its own, and the Ou family comes asking Yannis to save their father.
