Falling for My Ex-Wife

Cecelia Payne ends her marriage to Lucien Roberts after five years and leaves a letter behind when she goes. She was an intern when they met. His drink was spiked at a dinner, she stepped in and got him out of it, and the night ended with the two of them together. His grandfather asked him to marry her, and he did, having decided by then that she had arranged the drugging herself. He was cold to her for the whole marriage. She stayed and put up with it. Part of it was gratitude. She was also looking for the person inside his company who was working against him. After the divorce he learns he had it wrong and sees what she had been doing all along. He sees her smile at somebody else. He turns up at the dessert shop she runs to get her back, and she turns him down, so he drops the pride and asks again.
