No Mercy for Betrayal

Elisa heard that her daughter-in-law Lauren was pregnant and bought a luxury car for her. Her son Daniel took the car and handed it to Chloe, the woman he was seeing. He told Chloe to make a good impression on his mother at Elisa's birthday party, since he wanted to be named heir. Chloe turned up in the car and offended Elisa without knowing who she was. Elisa worked out that her son was having an affair, and Chloe took Elisa for Daniel's wife, so Elisa let that stand and gave her a hard time. At the party Chloe found out who Elisa really was and carried on as before, counting on Daniel behind her. Daniel came over and spoke up for Chloe, and Elisa took the position of heir away from him.
