Synopsis
Grace tells Evan she likes him and makes no attempt to hide it. He turns her down and keeps trying to get out of her way, without understanding that he is already attached to her. She had come to Cresthaven because something went wrong with her family. She is mixed race, new to the place, and she met Evan through an accident soon after arriving. What makes him back off is damage from earlier in his life. The day to day of having her near him closes some of that up, and there is still a good deal standing between the two of them.
