Accidentally Fated

The script has already decided what happens to Natalie Jane. She is written in as a side character, labeled stupid and malicious, the kind whose only job is to fail and be forgotten. Then she wakes up inside that script and realizes it. Her adoptive grandfather, Beck Shaw, is set to pay for the plot she's been handed. To stop it, she goes against the will controlling the book, tears up the story as written, and returns to the point where she was eighteen. From there she leads the other characters against the rules of the world they're trapped in. She gets pulled into three separate, tangled relationships with the Shaw family's young men: Greg, the illegitimate son who keeps his scheming under a calm surface, Lance, the eldest grandson who once looked down on her, and Justin, the one she fights with constantly and can't shake. She manages to change her grandfather's fate. Each of the three men ends up carrying her as the one he never got over. When she's finally given the power to decide how the world plays out, she chooses to stay in the present one.
