My Boss Is a Villain? Watch Me Fix Her!

Zoey Devro is the hanger-on of Elaine Luke, a rich girl in a novel called The CEO's Little Wife: Buy One Get One Free, which runs on old plots and has crooked values. Zoey has read it and knows how it goes. Elaine offends the male and female leads, her family is broken up over it, and the hanger-on who kept giving her bad ideas ends up no better off. The system that put Zoey inside the book sets her the job of correcting the way Elaine throws herself at a man who is using her. Zoey stays close to her employer and blocks the worse ideas before they get anywhere. She helps Elaine turn on the man and show people what he actually is. While that work is going on, Zoey keeps her grip on the rich girl's protection and builds up money and a career of her own.
