The Fired Flipped the Script

Jiang Lai lands a project worth several million for her company. Her boss favors his girlfriend, who works there too, and Jiang Lai is fired unfairly and then blacklisted across the industry. Wen Jingran, who runs the Wen Group, notices her and offers her a job. Once there she becomes the client that her old company has to answer to, which is an embarrassment for them. Her old boss spreads stories about her, and some of the employees who have been at Wen a long time plot against her as well. She answers with documented evidence, clears the mess, and moves up on the strength of her work. Along the way she and Wen Jingran come to rely on each other and build a close working trust. Around the time she reaches the top of her career, things from her past start coming back up, and she faces a choice in her love life.
