Forever Love (English Ver.)

On the day set for Lin Xintong's engagement to Chi Shan, a man she has never met corners her and kisses her before she can push him away. She is still shaking from that when word comes that her father, the businessman Lin Guofu, has died in an accident. Lin Xintong is the only child and stands to inherit everything he built. The man from the engagement day is Qin Moyao, and police name him as a suspect in Lin Guofu's death. He comes looking for Lin Xintong to clear his name, but before he can lay out what he knows, he gets pulled into a scheme already running inside the Lin family, one aimed at the company and the inheritance. He and Lin Xintong end up working the same threads from opposite sides, and it keeps throwing them together. Chi Shan, meanwhile, is carrying on with a woman named Xia Yuwei. Lin Xintong finds this out piece by piece, at the same time as she is drawing the wrong conclusions about Qin Moyao's part in her father's death. She starts keeping a list of who owes her what and sets out to collect on all of it, Chi Shan included. It is only after she goes after Qin Moyao directly and hurts him that she learns he had been covering for her, and shielding her from parts of the conspiracy, the whole time.
