Rise of the Hidden Heiress

Valerie is in her last year of high school. Her mother sells fish at a market, and that is what the neighbours know about the family. Her father is Arthur Morgan, who runs the criminal side of the city, and he has never claimed her in public. Her mother gets sick. The treatment costs more than the two of them have, and Arthur puts up the money and brings Valerie into the organisation. She is handed a set of tests that people do not usually walk out of. She walks out of them, and after that she is given the casino operations to run. The families under Arthur begin moving against each other, and Valerie moves between them and the outfits on the other side. While her mother is in the hospital she passes what she has collected to the police, piece by piece, and she arranges a meeting that puts the families in front of one another.
