Divorce the Fake, Marry the Throne

A woman wakes up inside a novel she has read, in the body of the neglected wife of a marquess household. Her husband stages his own death and goes to live elsewhere with the woman he loved first. She keeps the household running on her own for three years and is pushed out to a mountain retreat. Then he comes back and moves to take the principal rank in the family. She files for separation the same day, takes the property that is hers, and leaves. At a court banquet she sees the man who has been beside her every day and learns he is the prince regent. The household finds this out at the same time she does. Adapted from the novel Fujun Jiasi Sannian, Jingcheng Fozi Fengkuang You Ta Pojie by Qi Huangshu.
