Clara Bennett failed a heavenly breakthrough and was sent into the modern world as a child, into the body of a Bennett daughter. Over ten years she built a reputation there, and a number of prominent masters became her servants. Her return to the heavens is conditional on her going back to the Bennett house and completing the unfinished business of the girl whose body she took.
