Supremacy Unbound: Ascending Above All

The building site needs men to carry cement, and unfair treatment comes with the work. One of the men it lands on is Maxwell Kane, who has no memory of anything before the site. What he cannot remember is that he was the Lord of Valor, a man with real power. He keeps working and does his best to get by. Samantha Claude turns up. The two of them had a marriage agreement from before his memory loss, and she has come to keep it. They sit down to talk the agreement over. Both families oppose the match, and the gap in station between them is wide. The two decide to go on together anyway, and they go through a good deal of hardship before they come to understand each other.
