The Hero Who Walks Among Us

Greg Wright used to be Supreme Commander of Darvon. He is retired now and sweeps streets. He comes home from a shift to find his daughter-in-law and her mother have moved into his house, and the two of them put him out on the street. He has nowhere to go and wanders, and on the way he pulls a girl named Xenia Janz away from a group who were pushing her around. She wants to thank him properly, so she brings him to meet her mother, Yvonne Zeller, who runs a large company. Yvonne does not take a stray old man at face value. She sends her closest friend to flirt with him and see how fast he takes the bait, expecting he will. Greg calls the police instead and reports the woman for soliciting.
