The Prince Is My Kid's Dad?!

Jamie Loxley is the legitimate daughter of a marquis household. Marriage looks like more trouble than it is worth, so she keeps the child and leaves the father out of it, raising the boy in the countryside before returning to the capital. There she deals with her stepmother and her half sister and settles into a good life. The father of her child will not let the matter drop and keeps turning up. Separately, the Seventh Prince, a man she has never met, insists on marrying her and offers to acknowledge her son as his heir. She turns him down repeatedly. The father has meanwhile become the Seventh Prince, he knows exactly who she is, and he is wearing a different face and arranging one chance meeting after another so he can court her from the start again. When she works out that the two men are the same person, she looks at this shameless, grinning creature she cannot shake off, sighs, and asks His Highness whether he has any dignity he would still like to keep.
