His Wife Is Trouble
Synopsis
Paul Finley and his mother want Alice Cohen out of the marriage. They look down on where she comes from and press her to divorce. Alice comes from a family that practices divination and has hidden it for the three years of the marriage. She used those skills in secret to carry Paul from nothing to success, and neither Paul nor his mother knows it. She signs the papers without arguing and, under an agreement, marries Owen Trevino, a rich man she intends to keep at a distance. Alice goes to disrupt Paul's contract-signing party and is humiliated there, and Owen appears and stands behind her. At an auction she pays high prices for every raw stone on offer while the room laughs, and he trusts her without asking why. His mother, on first meeting, distrusts the beauty pills Alice has made, so Owen speaks up for her and swallows one himself. Later his father is suddenly possessed and the household suspects Alice. Owen asks her to treat him. Through these events Alice finds out who Owen really is and begins to fall for him. The daughter of another rich family, a childhood friend of Owen's who has liked him since they were small, envies Alice for the marriage. She joins up with Paul and the two of them try several times to harm her. Alice uses her skills to get clear of each attempt, and the plots turn on the people who made them, until the friend's family is disgraced and bankrupt. With nowhere left to go, the friend picks up a family token Alice has lost, learns what it can do, and begins using it to pass herself off as a member of Alice's family.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
