Yearning in the Dark

Song Yue wants two things she cannot have, her freedom and her father's name cleared. Mu Jingchen keeps her shut in, heart and all, and what he calls love has gone twisted. The two of them grew up together. Ten years ago they stood in falling snow in matching clothes, with matching scarves at their necks. A phone call cut into that. His parents had died in an accident, and when he put the phone down he was eaten up with anger and pain. He has blamed Song Yue for it ever since and taken it out on her, and her father has been carrying the blame as well. She starts looking into what really happened. Another man gets drawn into the events. Song Yue fakes her own death. Mu Jingchen is left with regret, and a business partnership starts breaking down in one conflict after another.
