Forever Was a Lie

Nicole Quinn lives in the Smith house, and the two brothers she grew up with, Colin and Abel, have stopped taking her side. Mandy Moore, the daughter of the family's nanny, has moved in, and since then Nicole has been caught in one of Mandy's schemes after another and made to look bad in front of the household. Nicole came to the Smiths twenty years ago, after her own family went bankrupt and her mother's best friend took her in. The brothers doted on her through those years, and to them she was the one person nobody could replace. Now they look at her as if the light had gone out of her, and she has drifted away from both of them. After the latest round of humiliation she decides to marry the heir of another family and leave the house. The brothers only find out who was behind what happened to her after she has gone.
