The Pit Wall Bastard

In Formula Apex, a team's founder loses the right to their own name on the entry if someone else pays for the car. Soren was the fastest teenage driver in the series and a strategist, and his brother Cassian took all of it. In a rain race Soren called Cassian's forced pit stop and handed him the win, and he was paid 20,000 for it and pushed out. He used that money to buy the car Cassian had crashed and started the Black Wall team under a bridge. He signed Mika, a top driver the elite teams had dropped, and Rhea, a safety leader who had been banned. They go up against the Platinum team, its money and its AI system, through smear campaigns and sabotage. At the next race in the rain, Soren puts Mika on the outside line to take Cassian.
