I Betrayed Her, She Saved Us

The household the man lives in now was put together by a trap. A woman set him up so that he had to leave his wife, and he married the woman instead, and her family came with her. Then the man's mother falls seriously ill. His new wife refuses to help with her care. The first wife comes back anyway, puts aside what was done to her, looks after his mother, and pays for the care out of her own savings. To bring the new family's true face into the open, the man pretends to be in financial trouble and lets them believe he is ruined, and he keeps the evidence of how they respond. They produce debts he never owed and spread rumors about him to squeeze money out of him. The matter goes to court. Afterwards he brings the first wife the necklace she lost years ago, tells her he regrets what he did, and asks for a chance to put the family back together for their daughter.
