Slumdog Million-Dollar Star

2026·34 Eps·Free 8 Eps

Synopsis

Martín grew up in the Verdan slums and started playing to work off a debt to a gang. Falcão, a former national player with a bad leg, takes him on, and his friend Fer is alongside him. He mixes street football with samba, and what comes out of it is not something anyone has seen on a pitch before. Each match moves him closer to the World Cup and further from the life he was born into. What is left is one shot in a qualifier, and Falcão's own dream of the national shirt is riding on it too.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

You Are My Antidote

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
