She Was Mine First

Victor Grant runs the Grant family and holds the power in it. Three years ago someone drugged him, and he spent the night with Ava Summers, an intern at the hotel. He looked for her afterward and did not find her. She turns up at his birthday party, introduced as the fiancee of his grandnephew Daniel Grant. Victor makes his interest plain and Ava refuses him flatly, saying she has chosen Daniel. Daniel then sells her out for money and position, and everything she believed about him comes apart. Ava is left to face what happened three years ago and the family that has been arranging her life around it.
