Trapped in Love’s Deadly Game

The city Elena left six years ago is still Ryan's city, and the two people who drove her out of it are still there. Back then a woman who wanted Ryan, and a man working with her, arranged for Elena to end up in bed with him. Afterwards they posed as Elena and demanded five million from Ryan to keep quiet about it. Ryan took Elena for a schemer who had sold herself for money. She was pregnant when she disappeared. Her daughter now has a heart condition and needs an operation. Elena has no money left, so she comes back and asks the man for help, with no idea of his part in what happened. At a pool party she runs into Ryan. The woman announces that she is about to marry him. The man proposes to Elena, which is his way of keeping her away from Ryan, and Elena accepts in order to get out from under Ryan's pursuit. Then the story of the five million comes apart and Ryan learns what was done six years ago. Elena and her daughter go missing. Ryan finds them at an abandoned construction site, where the woman has already set a trap. She has the girl, and she puts a choice to Ryan between the child and Elena.
