Damn, I Hurt My Savior

Sophie Shane wants Joel Lynn to know that it was she who got him out of the fire, and she cannot have that, because a lie has already been put in place of it. The two of them had fallen for each other at first sight. Then the fire broke out, she saved him at a cost to herself, and he came out of it with no memory and a twisted account of who she was, in which she was his enemy. He forces her into marriage. He is cold to her and treats the marriage as a way to punish her, and whatever he still feels for her stays unsaid. Around the two of them there are plots, misunderstandings, and a kidnapping. When his memory returns the lie comes apart and he begins to regret what he has done. By then Sophie's heart is not the one he knew. There is also a baby by that time.
