Legend of Dawnbreaker

Matthew is the one son James Evans keeps shut in at Evans Cottage. His elixir field is damaged, and while Sally and Eric are trained for a fight, Matthew is left out of it. The training goes back to Bruce Lester, the chancellor, who was hunting a sword called Dawnbreaker that is supposed to settle the whole martial world. While he was after it he saw James's wife, forced himself on her, and she killed herself. At the cottage Matthew is taken up by a Sword God who lives away from everyone. Eight years of that leave him holding Dawnbreaker and carrying the title himself. Bruce's son Jerry moves to take Sally as a wife whether she agrees or not. Matthew comes out of the cottage with the sword, kills Jerry and brings his sister back, and his father acknowledges him after that. The Evanses go after Bruce together.
