The Billionaire She Threw Away

Ethan Holt and the medical student he loves agree to wait six years for each other. She is leaving to study abroad, and her mother has already arranged an engagement for her with the heir of a family that owns a medical business. The mother has decided Ethan is poor, which is what he has let everyone believe. He is the only heir of a rich family, and he was on the losing side of a fight over its control when the student found him and took care of him. He has kept his background from her since then, to protect her. He spends the six years taking the family company back. He also builds a hospital, without telling her, meant to be hers when she returns. Word reaches him during that time that she has taken up with the man her mother chose, and that she has grown fond of money. On the day she comes home he drops the gentle manner he has kept with her, takes back everything he has given her, and goes after the medical family that took her in, starting with the corruption in its business.
